Keystone is held in Harrisburg, PA, which is a couple hours from me. As it is the brainchild of some friends of mine, I wanted to be there. Last year’s event was the first conference I attended as Sophie. I have grown and changed so much since then.

This time I would drive up with JJ, a dear friend. As I am terminally late, we were a half hour off schedule. That meant trouble, as we made appointments for our nails. We had to go in drab which was WEIRD.

Lee nails did I great job but I was a little disconcerted when the woman was painting my nails and speaking to her colleague in whatever language it was and laughing. I had a pedicure- my first. Wow! Highly recommended! Great stuff- and the happy ending was yet to come! ;)

I went back to the hotel and started the change to Sophie. I would be her for the next three days. Heaven.

I had an appointment with Amanda Richards at 4, so I did my makeup lightly. Then down to the bar for lunch and drinkees!

Skip ahead some hours. I’m now decked out in an LBD, black strappy shoes, and blonde wig. I feel and look great… as I walk into a CASINO! Yes, over a hundred t-girls went into this casino and the literal drop jawed expressions we received from the locals were amazing! You’d think they’d never seen a guy in a dress before!

It’s been a dream of mine to slink into a casino, play cards and look amazing. So Here I was and was I ever happy!

I received a lot of attention there. Well, the Girls did at least. My dress was cut low enough so people could get a good look. *smiles*

After a great dinner, I played slots (there were no card games) and caught the bus to the hotel. And the bar…

…and the 50 or so parents of the wrestlers competing in the State championships. Let’s talk stereotypes here: trannies in a bar with muscle-head jock type dads and the women who love them. Oh and a few insurance guys too. What a combo! The place was packed! I eventually started speaking to a spirited red headed woman who was dating a short very muscular dude. He was very uncomfortable with the whole thing. That said, many of the parents asked a lot of the usual questions and were actually quite nice.

Friday was cold and rainy. I attended seminars and a luncheon, and met people- typical conference stuff. Of course while doing that I was in a skirt and heels….
